Our shared responsibility…

Social responsibility is a test of business competency. How could a company take steps to meet the simpler needs of society more directly? The topic of social responsibility is relatively new in the business world. But, every year, more and more companies become aware of it and set their plan based on meeting the qualifications of this test.

What do we mean by social responsibility? What responsibilities do companies and organizations have towards the city, government, competitors, and customers? What are their duties towards society and the environment? In the social responsibility test, companies have to answer only one question: How much do they stick to their goals and slogans?

What is social responsibility?

Social responsibility is an organization’s commitment to maximize its positive effects and minimize its harmful effects. In a word, jobs should be actively concerned with the general welfare of society. Activities that are divided into two main categories of human and environmental responsibility:

Human Responsibility: Includes all the responsibilities that a company has defined towards its customers, employees, shareholders, and investors, government, and competitors. For example, an organization has to create a safe and motivational work environment for its employees. Or provide a safe space to hear critiques and comments. Or a company has a social responsibility to shareholders and investors to present a fair picture of the company’s financial status, profits, and losses. It is also responsible to customers to provide quality products and use its research and development team to produce more innovative and valuable products.

Or, most importantly, part of human social responsibility is to create job opportunities that target society and a larger circle of people.

Environmental responsibility:

A company that pays attention to its environmental responsibility must use environment-friendly equipment for its production process. It must also try to minimize pollution and waste with an efficient system.

Measures to protect the environment: The production of environment-friendly products (such as antibacterial yarn and flame-retardant yarn) is one of these measures. Nafis Nakh has also implemented voluntary executive programs to promote the culture of environmental protection.
